Using Whisper White card stock (#106549), I punched out 2 circles with the 2" circle punch (#133782) and 6 oval shapes with the large oval punch (#119855).
I then used the owl builder punch (#118074) and punched out the heart in Pink Pirouette card stock (#116203) for the nose and the two middle sized circles in Basic Black (#121688) for the eyes.
Using a sponge dauber (#133773) and the Pink Pirouette classic stamp pad (#126956), I gently sponged some colour onto two of the oval shapes to make the ears and, with the same stamp pad and two more of the oval shapes, I used the eraser end of a pencil to stamp three little pink circles for the feet.
To make up the face, I adhered the ears to the back of one of the 2"circles and glued the second circle on top to give a smoother finish and add some stability. I then added the nose and eyes and, using a black fine liner pen, drew on whiskers and eyelashes. A white gel pen added a glint to the eyes.
The gift box was made from a 6" x 8½" piece of Whisper White card stock stamped with little flowers from the Butterfly Basics stamp set (#137154) and So Saffron Classic Stamp Pad (#126957).
With the card stock in the portrait position, I scored at 2" and 4" then rotated the card 90 degrees clockwise (landscape) and scored at 2", 4", 6" and 8".
With the card stock in the portrait position, I scored at 2" and 4" then rotated the card 90 degrees clockwise (landscape) and scored at 2", 4", 6" and 8".
I turned the card back 90 degrees anti-clockwise (portrait) and at the 1½" mark, scored down to the 3rd scoreline and repeated at the 4½" mark. Turning the card 180 degrees, this time I just scored down to the 1st scoreline from the 1½" and 4½" marks.
The shaded areas (Fig 1) were cut away and then I cut along the ½" wide sections and mitred the edges (Fig 2). All score lines were burnished and sticky strip added to the areas shown (Fig 3).

To finish, I added a bow to the top of the box made using the bow builder punch (#137414) and So Saffron card stock (#126957).
